I have a total of four dogs, two little and two big. Beau a
blue healer he is a little over 6 years old, he’s the oldest. Nugget he is a
Sharpe mixed with Boxer he will be 5 in December. Mac he is a Chihuahua mixed
with Wiener dog he is a little over 5. Then the youngest Bronco, he is a long
hair Chihuahua he is not even a year old yet. Beau and Nugget stay outside and
guard the outside of the house, they like it outside and Nugget would come in
the house because he is scared of the floor. Mac and Bronco stay inside with
me. Mac loves it outside but he tries fighting with Nugget, his mouth is as
bigger than Mac’s head. Then Bronco, he’s so small he will get lost in the back
yard for weeks. I only have male dogs, I only had a female dog in my life when
I was still a baby, just because my mom didn’t want to deal with puppies.

(L: Brutus Brothers Dog & R: Beau) |
Beau, he is a very good dog, he loves to run and jump. A
little story about him and I, when I was 16, I had him for a couple month and
wanted to go take him for a walk, to go around the fire station to see the fire
fighter I liked. Well we left there and were heading home and decided to run, I
was in flip flops first off, then I was running on asphalt that should have
been a no-no. Then the dog went between my legs, now I was running pretty fast,
I face planted onto the asphalt, I laid there in the middle of the road for a
good 10 minutes, I think I was conscious the whole time I don’t remember but
Beau stayed right next to me. I realized I was tasting blood, I thought I bit
my tongue off or hurt my neck or I was going to die. I finally rolled on my
back and called my mom, she got there so fast. Helped me in the car and I
started hurting, especially my mouth. The after results, hands, boobs, chin
scarped up no bad to need stitches but I was picking asphalt out of my skin.
Luckily I was wearing jeans they took a hard blow. My teeth, scraped my teeth
and broke a tooth with just the base and a little in the front, I have a crown
now because of it.

(Nugget & Brother) |
Nugget, my grandpa gave him to me for Valentines. He is a big
dog but as nice as could be. Looks scary and mean but wouldn’t hurt a fly, he
is terrified of the wood floors in my house. I don’t know why, but he will walk
half way through then turn around and go back. It’s so strange. Nugget has
feelings, I got mad at him when he was about 6 months old and was driving home
from my boyfriends to my moms and the whole way he had his headed turned to the
window, he was upset I was mad at him. I got mad at him because he ate my shoe,
a cute shoe at that. Now that he is older, I don’t stand next to him because
when he shakes his tail it feels like a whip and it hurts.
Mac, he was so cute when he was a puppy, he was a brat and
took him about 2 years to learn how to potty outside. I moved back in with my
parents and was going to school and working, this was the same time my dad
retired. So my dad would stay with him all day. Even wanted to charge me for “babysitting”.
After a while you could not spate those to, they attached so fast it was ridiculous.
My dad even referred to him as his favorite, because he would complain or ask
for anything. One thing I noticed about him was he started getting fat. Imagine
a blimp on stilts. Really big body and tiny legs. He is not even 2 feet tall
when he’s standing on all fours, he is about 2 feet long, but he is wide he
weighs 20 pounds. For how small he is it’s huge. He’s on a diet now and has
gotten smaller, but I almost give myself a hernia lifting him on the bed.
Bronco, the baby, he is such an energetic and
happy dog. Every morning when he hears my alarm clock he gets up and starts
licking my face. Sometimes it is annoying because he walks around on my face, then
others, it’s really cute. On morning he was walking around and I was awake just
enough to turn my alarm on snooze, next thing I knew I had a puppy foot in my
mouth. He is so lovable, never mad or sleepy, if he could, he would be smiling
all the time. Every night he lays right next to me, he is so cute and small I
stick him in my purse when I take him places, and he just sits there looking
out at the world.
